Commissions are a perfect way to liven up a space with the perfect mood that is unique to you or the person who may receive one as a gift.
The Commission Process
First, we discuss what you would like created, agreeing on the price and dimensions. I can work from a reference photo (approved by me, provided it is suitable as such) or we can arrange a time for me to take a photo if needed.
All commissions require a 50% non-refundable deposit before any work begins. This covers supplies required for the project.
Once we agree on a reference photo/concept for the piece, I will make a rough sketch to show the general composition.
The project is underway! I will send 3 progress photos
1st- proof of progress (approx. halfway point)
2nd- 75-80% completed and check in (this will be a chance for input/ minor revisions or slight changes)
3rd- Finished piece!
Once you approve of the completed piece and pay the remaining balance, I will apply a protective varnish (takes 2-3 days to dry fully)
Your art makes its home! All pieces will come mounted and ready to hang (unless otherwise specified during planning)
